Film compositions are great aren't they?! Here's a small collection of two multi-genre tracks of mine (with two variations) that have been used in queer independent films in Berlin.

COMPOSITION FOR A CLOWN:
Why not let go a little, why not lose control?
In an attempt to adjust to life during quarantine, a Clown falls into an unspectacular and monotonous daily routine. Attempts to fill the void by being “productive” pay off at first: they clean, call their grandparents, attempt yoga workouts, they clean again.
But as the days slowly blur into one, the Clown begins to question the need for all this, and the point of this performance. Why not let go a little? After all, who’s really going to care? Who is it all for?
Through the Clown, we explore how our commonly held understanding of what it means to be a "productive human" can be interrupted during the pandemic. However, while breaking free of ritual and productivity can be liberating, in a society where self-worth is still so tied to work, the struggle to find meaning outside of one's labor is a struggle that inevitably invites chaos.
